Jason Bordainick co-founded Hudson Valley Property Group with a vision to create a preeminent housing preservation firm, improving upon the availability, quality, and affordability of housing across the country. HVPG acquires existing multifamily properties and enhances their sustainability, leveraging innovative strategic partnerships in the areas of healthcare, education, and technology to deliver added value for residents and investors.
A recognized industry leader, Bordainick applies his creativity, tenacity, and business acumen towards building an impactful organization that achieves outstanding results for its partners—both for-profit and nonprofit, and the communities it serves. Bordainick leads the strategic direction for the firm and ensures each project, partnership, and investment is structured for success.
Bordainick lectures at leading schools of business on the future of affordable housing. He has been recognized by New York Real Estate Journal as “One to Watch” in 2022 and as one of Affordable Housing Finance’s Young Leaders. He serves on the board of the New York State Association for Affordable Housing and is a member of the National Leased Housing Association and SPIRE (Stanford Professionals in Real Estate).
Before founding HVPG, Bordainick founded (from his dorm room at UVA) and built Off Campus Partners (OCP), the nation’s largest online marketplace for off-campus housing, which helps millions of students secure housing each year. OCP was acquired by CoStar in 2019. In his career, Bordainick has successfully executed nearly $2.5 billion of investments on behalf of private investors and corporations. He also previously worked in mergers & acquisitions and corporate management. Bordainick holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Commerce (Finance) from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, where he was honored with the Warwick Johnson Jr. Award for academic achievement and serves on the advisory board of the White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate at UVA.
